How is your stone packaged?
Our flagstone and snapped stone is stacked and shipped on pallets weighing 3,500 – 4,500 lbs. Patio grade flagstone is stacked flat on pallets while select grade flagstone is stacked on special upright pallets.
Our thin veneer is packaged in wood crates containing 150 square feet of flats or 100 lineal feet of corners. These crates weigh from 1,600-1,900 lbs. Handipacks containing smaller amounts of flats and corners will be available in 2009.
How many pallets or crates can I get on a truck?
On average most trucks can haul around 46,000-48,000 lbs. That means you can get around 12-15 pallets of flagstone or up to 32 crates of thin veneer on a truck.
